User Data Deletion

How to delete personal data stored by Utell (including data obtained via Facebook Login or other integrations).

Option A: Delete Your Data In‑App (Recommended)

  1. Sign in to your Utell account.
  2. Go to Account > Privacy (or Settings > Privacy).
  3. Select Delete My Data and follow the prompts to confirm.

This action requests deletion of personal data we store about you, including data our app received from Facebook Login (if applicable). Deletion is processed by Utell directly and will deactivate your account immediately. We complete deletion within 30 days, or sooner where required by law.

Option B: Request Deletion via Support

If you cannot sign in, email kitjisupport@kitjistudios.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include the email/phone associated with your account. We will verify your identity and confirm deletion or explain any lawful basis for limited retention.

Data Export (Optional)

Before deletion, you may request a copy of your data (data portability). Use the in‑app Export My Data option or contact support.

Scope of Deletion

  • Personal data you provided to Utell and personal data obtained via integrations (e.g., Facebook Login) that we store.
  • Account identifiers, profile information, credentials, and associated logs tied to your profile (subject to lawful retention below).

Lawful Retention

We may retain limited records where necessary to comply with legal, tax, audit, fraud prevention, or security obligations. Retained data is minimized and access‑restricted. We delete or anonymize retained data once obligations end.

What Deletion Does Not Cover

  • Content or messages stored on third‑party platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp). You must manage or delete data directly on those platforms.
  • Independent records kept by your employer/organization (for enterprise accounts) beyond Utell’s control.

Confirmation

We send an email confirmation when your deletion request is completed.
